Ron Madera
President, The Grounds Guys®

 

Ron joined The Dwyer Group in 2004 as a franchise consultant for Mr. Appliance® and was promoted to vice president of operations in 2006. He was appointed to president of The Grounds Guys, LLC in February 2010.

 

Ron began his career in 1973 as an Army infantry officer and resigned at the rank of captain in 1979. From 1979-1982, he was a franchisee and vice president of sales for Success Motivation International (SMI). Ron and his wife were the hosts for Marble Retreat from 1982-1984. He then served as vice president of operations for CITA Technologies in Allentown, Pennsylvania through 1992. From 1992-1996, Ron was the co-owner and founder of The Pronto Corporation. From 1996-2004, he was the owner and president of J&H Financial Services, Inc. Ron then joined The Dwyer Group in 2004.

 

Ron holds a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore, Oklahoma. He also holds a bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School and Airborne School. Ron is also fluent in the German language.
