Dean manages the digital landscape of The Dwyer Group. Under his leadership, Dean provides oversight, business transformation and leadership for all of the company's information technology needs.

As CIO, Dean oversees the use of information technology to improve program performance and to manage risk for The Dwyer Group portfolio companies. He focuses on strategic solutions to further business goals and leading the franchising industry with cutting-edge technology solutions. The Dwyer Group has created new systems to manage information flow, establish a new level of online exposure and connect thousands of franchise users worldwide.

Prior to joining The Dwyer Group, Dean founded and served as president for two information technology software companies – Millennium Software Solutions (1980-1992) and DR Solutions, LLC (1992-2006). He is a high-energy leader with demonstrated success in turn-around situations that require the building of profitable business processes for private, public, and government companies.
Dean is a former business review board member for the State of Ohio Department of Education. He has published articles and interviews in Internet Week, Cnet, Security Pipeline, and Zdnet.

Dean earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and business administration from Colorado State University.
